Calvary Roma continues to be a church-planting ministry seeking to fulfill their calling to glorify Jesus as they endeavor to seek and to save the lost in Italy (and beyond), and equip the saints for the work of ministry. By God’s grace, the Harrells are seeking to plant their 4th church plant currently, a new work north of the city of Rome. Another focus of outreach and ministry is in the bronx of Rome, Tor Bella Monaca, a ghetto area near their church and home. Brent and Hope have made great inroads with a volunteer mowing and landscaping ministry that has opened wonderful doors to work with troubled youth, some of which belong to drug-dealing families
Prayer Request: Pray for the several churches they have started in the Rome area. For strength, grace, and provision for each pastor and their families, for fresh vision, constant spiritual renewal, co-laborers and men to be raised up, open doors into new gospel opportunities and relationships, a fruitful harvest of souls. Pray for their family, their three children, Isabella, Olivia, Brayden, as they grow into adulthood and seek to discover God’s path for them. Pray for a deeper work of the Holy Spirit, for wise decision-making, that their lives would be blessed and bring glory and honor to Jesus. Pray for their extended missionary efforts beyond Italy under a broader global ministry umbrella called Equipping and Encouraging the Saints; especially work primarily in Kenya, but also Uganda, Tanzania, and elsewhere.
