About Us

Felice

In 2005, Felice left her engineering position at Boeing in Los Angeles to answer the Lord’s call to serve at Calvary Chapel CM.

After a few years, it became evident that her administrative gifting and love for missions would best serve the 200+ missionaries sent out from CCCM. She provided the much-needed link between the far-away missionaries and home church.

Further, the door opened for her to oversee the translation of Pastor Chuck Smith’s Bible teaching materials and books into various languages.

Beginning in 2022, the Lord gave opportunity for Felice and her husband Ben to join Hand in Hand Ministry. They continued helping the missionaries concerning their administrative, spiritual and practical needs.

In 2025, they had a vision to serve on a larger scale through Calvary M, which you are now viewing online.

Furthermore, Calvary Chapel Magazine wrote a brief account of Felice’s involvement in the Chinese translation work at CCCM during the days of Pastor Chuck which is available here.

Mission

Calvary M is an endeavor to provide a central hub where missionaries can share about their work and ministry, and where they can connect with senders and ministry partners.

Our Beliefs

  • That there is one true God, One in nature and substance, eternally existent in three Persons (Triune); the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He created Heaven and Earth and all things. He is all powerful, all knowing and omni-present. He created mankind in His own image, and desires us to be with Him in His Kingdom throughout eternity.
  • In the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and that He came from the Father and was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles and died on a cross for the sins of mankind to restore us to God. We believe that He was dead and buried and in the earth for three days. We believe that He was resurrected bodily by the power of the Holy Spirit and that He ascended to the right hand of the Father where He lives forevermore making intercession for us.
  • That all who believe on Him are reconciled to God, having received atonement for their sins, and have everlasting life in God’s Kingdom. We believe that He will come again to receive us unto Himself, and to judge the world for its sins, and that we will live forever with Him in the Kingdom of Heaven.
  • That the Bible is the Word of God, and that every word of Scripture has been inspired by God to infallibly declare His design and plan for mankind. Therefore we teach and study God’s Word that we may know Him and live our lives for Him.
  • In the Holy Spirit, and that He was sent to us to empower us to live the kind of lives that please God, to boldly proclaim that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and that nobody comes to the Father except through Him. We believe that the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth and bring to our mind all that Jesus has said, and that He will comfort us and keep us. We believe that He will give various gifts and callings of ministry to those who are believers in Jesus Christ, and that all that He does will be in accordance with the Word of God and will glorify Jesus Christ.
  • In the grace of God to forgive the sins of the one who believes in Jesus Christ, and that all who do are now God’s children. We believe that, through Christ, we have mercy from God, and that He patiently works in our lives to grow us into spiritual maturity. He greatly loves us and has promised to never leave us or forsake us. He has assured us that nobody can take us out of His hand. We are His.
  • In, and practice, two ordinances as given in the Word of God. Those ordinances are baptism, a public profession of our faith that we believe in Christ (though not required for salvation), and the Lord’s Supper through which we remember His broken body and shed blood which paid the price for our sins.

How Can I Be Saved For All Eternity?

The Bible teaches that to be saved, you must:

  • Acknowledge your sinfulness: Recognize that you are a sinner and cannot save yourself through good works or righteousness (Romans 3:23, Ecclesiastes 7:20).
  • Believe in Jesus Christ: Place your faith in Jesus as the Son of God who died for your sins and rose again (Acts 16:31, John 3:16).
  • Confess Jesus as Lord: Declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).
  • Repent of your sins: Turn away from sin and commit to following Christ, as repentance is a key part of the salvation process (Acts 3:19, Matthew 4:17).
  • Receive salvation as a gift: Understand that salvation is by grace through faith—not by works—so no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8–9).

The Philippian jailer asked, “What must I do to be saved?” and was told, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31). This belief includes trusting in Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection as the only way to eternal life. If you genuinely desire salvation, you can pray a prayer like this:

Dear Lord Jesus, I confess I am a sinner and cannot save myself. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I repent of my sins and invite You to be my Lord and Savior. Thank You for forgiving me and giving me eternal life. In Your name, I pray. Amen.

What awaits you? Here’s a hint:

  • “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many rooms; if that were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will take you to Myself, so that where I am, there you also will be” – John 14:1-3.
  • “The foundation stones of the city wall were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation stone was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass” – Rev 21:19-21.
  • “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away” – Rev 21:3-4.

It’s going to be so AWESOME we can’t even imagine… but the best part, is being in the presence of Jesus!
