PRAISES:
Praise the Lord: Cindy's vertigo is improving - still not 100% cleared, but much better - thank you!
Praise the Lord: A gentleman who walked into our prayer meeting drunk a few months ago, Greg, has been sober the last few weeks and will be going to Teen Challenge in England June 22. - Greg is the sweetest man, with a tender heart for the Lord and others. Let's keep him in our prayers so that he continues his sobriety.
Praise the Lord: Our dear friend who has been having such health struggles is seeing improvement. This is due to prayer along with a change of meds and treatment. There is Hope!!
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Urgent prayers are needed for our town, Ballymena. It was 1 year ago today that the horrible race riots broke out that caused such fear and a lot of damage in the town, which also spread throughout Northern Ireland. Pray that the Lord keeps the threat of violence and especially the fear at bay and that the enemy will be bound from causing any chaos.
- Please pray for Rick's pastoral visit with Ryan in Maghaberry Prison tomorrow, Wednesday the 10th of June. Let's agree that Ryan will have hit 'rock bottom' and is ready to totally surrender to Jesus as his Lord & Savior.
- Pray for Kristen as she continues seeking the Lord's will for her in coming to Northern Ireland to work with HCF Ireland and see if it would be a good fit for her. There has been some progress on this, praise the Lord.
- Pray with me for the Lord to fulfil a word that He spoke to me: "That the churches in the Ballymena area will be full as He brings people from across the board to faith - male and female; young, old and in between; backsliders, the unchurched and those raised in church." - I want to be very busy this summer as the Lord brings revival.
- Thank you for your continued prayers for Wendy who had heart surgery to replace a leaking heart valve. She got home last Friday from the hospital. Thank you for your prayers for complete recovery now and also for her salvation as well.
- Please pray for Hope Now, an outreach in Harrogate, England. We will be leading and serving the catering team for. We will be there Jul 27 to Aug 4. We will be catering for a team of up to 50 people. Pray for all the teams as they are now preparing to minister to the people of Harrogate. And we're praying for good weather on the weekend for this outdoors event.
- Your continued prayers for our dear Heather & Jenny are appreciated. Pray they both return to Jesus, their first Love, and to fellowship.
Thank you for praying for the upcoming meetings this week:
Tuesday - Church prayer gathering
Saturday - Thrive
Sunday - The Book of Revelation - "What on Earth is Happening?"
ONGOING PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Please continue praying for Connor especially that he would return to faith. I also pray that he would use this time locked up to better himself, get completely clean from drugs and that he would tap into his talents.
- Please pray for some friends who have stopped attending church. Pray that their hearts will respond to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. For us, it is a bit worrying being so far away and not understanding what has led up to this. Thank you for your prayers for them.
- Pray for the drugs issue in Ballymena. News reports have also said that criminals are exploiting the Republic of Ireland's weakness and flooding cocaine into the UK through them and Northern Ireland. Let's pray for this pipeline to collapse and for the freely available amount of cocaine in all its forms to decline in Ballymena.
- Please keep praying for the tinnitus in Rick's ears as there has not been much relief.
Thank you so much for your faithful prayers for us,
Rick & Cindy Johnston

Tomorrow (Saturday) we are going on an all day excursion with our English club. Most of the group are unbelievers and several are Muslim. Please pray the Lord will open up their hearts and our discussion would turn to the gospel.
We are needing wisdom regarding an upcoming decision to make regarding our missionary health insurance.
Next Saturday we are planning to begin a new believers/foundations course for those in the church who are new believers. We are asking the Lord for His leading, power and blessing upon that time.
We are also asking for God's blessing upon a Friday night home fellowship meeting centered on prayer and worship.
Asking for physical healing in our family. Kurt, John Mark, Olivia and Rebekah are all fighting through physical issues.
Thanks so much for your prayers!!

1. Thanks to the Lord who provided for us, we have been able to do some work on the church building, such as putting up a ceiling, plastering the walls that needed it, and enlarging the altar. We ask for prayer so that we can put ceramic tiles on the floor and paint the walls of the building.
2. On June 28th, we will have a joint service of fasting and prayer with seven churches at our church. We ask for your prayers that everything goes well and that more people will come to Jesus.
3. We ask for prayer for Elijah, son of Ninoska and David Budgen. He has cysts in many parts of his body. He is in the hospital and is being evaluated by oncology and surgery. May the Lord heal him and provide for all that he and his family need.
4. Thanks be to the Lord; my two sons are doing well. Samuel continues to assist Pastor Arcenio and is doing well in college. William is helping with children's ministry and other areas of ministry, and he is also doing well in school. I ask for your prayers that the Lord will continue to help them.
5. Thanks to the Lord, Radio El Shaddai is working well. We ask for your prayers so that it may continue to do so, bringing the word of God to more people.

PRAISES:
Praise the Lord: The Lord did a wonderful work deep inside us at the annual UK Pastors and Leaders conference in York last week. Despite severe travel difficulties in getting there the Lord blessed our time immensely. Great teaching, fellowship and food!
Praise the Lord: Rick received confirmation for a pastoral visit with Ryan in Maghaberry Prison. It will be Wednesday next week, the 10th of June
Praise the Lord: We now know where Connor is - the same place as Ryan. Yep, he has been re-arrested and may now face up to two years in prison.
Praise the Lord: The past two Sunday morning messages in Revelation have been well received by the church body. They are excited to study this Book!
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Please pray for Cindy as the vertigo, which was improving, is now flaring up worse due to travelling on the train to and from Manchester airport.
- Pray for Ryan, so when I go to visit him he will open up and we can have an honest talk. Also that he will completely surrender to the Lord and receive relief from the stranglehold of drugs.
- Please also pray for Connor especially that he would return to faith. I also pray that he would use this time locked up to better himself, get completely clean from drugs and that he would tap into his talents.
- Our friend Lee is back on track and we pray that he would settle down and grow in his faith.
- My cousin Wendy from Washington had heart surgery to replace a leaking valve and was to be released yesterday, but her heart went into afib. We pray it settles and the remaining time of recovery is smoother. But also pray for her salvation -may this be eye-opening for her.
- Your continued prayers for our dear Heather & Jenny are appreciated. Pray they both return to Jesus, their first Love, and to fellowship.
- We need to keep praying for our friend who is struggling with ongoing health issues as the new medication she's been given will help resolve the issues she's having. We are grateful for the proactiveness of the doctor. We still pray for a miraculous healing, and pray for continued peace for the family.

Prayer request, tomorrow, Friday, May 29 I will get two dental implants at 9am-1pm EST. It'll take three or so hours. I'd love your prayers. For a pain free, no complications, great healing, and no infections or problems for years to come. This is the first step.
I'll have the crowns put on in December if all goes according to plan.
I'm flying to Michigan with my mom June 12, to share at my uncle David's funeral. My stepfather passed away in April too. It'll be my first time with the family to gather together June 12-18. The celebration of life for uncle david is Sunday, June 14. Pray the Lord would give me the words. And the Holy Spirit would draw many to Jesus.

Paul & Maura
At the end of June Maura and I have both been invited to share at a church in Bucharest. Maura will be speaking to the Momco group on Saturday, and I will be giving the sermon on Sunday. It will be our first time doing ministry there and we are looking forward to it. Your prayers for us are appreciated!
While it seems like a ways off, we ask for prayers for the month of September as Maura will travel to Calif, Denver, and Mexico City for ministry. Please be praying now for Maura to have energy, focus, and to be led by the Spirit as she studies and prepares 3-4 teachings. Pray for provision as airfare is currently very expensive (I won’t be accompanying her partially for that reason). Pray for safe travels, strength and good health. Pray for the pastor wives that will attend to receive all the Lord has for them. There are some big challenges going into this but there are also great opportunities and possibilities that can come out of this!
