Dave + Nancy Sylvester
Dave pastors Calvary Chapel York and is the director of CC Bible College in York. Nancy oversees the women’s ministry, teaches at the Bible college, as well as retreats and conferences. They desire to see churches established in the UK where Jesus is loved and followed. They also have an ongoing ministry to their many grandchildren!
Prayer Request: The church: the Lord is doing a fresh work in the body so pray for a thorough work and receptive hearts to his molding and shaping; for souls to be saved and disciples to be made; for more churches to be established in the towns and villages and for laborers to be sent forth by the Lord; for effectiveness in outreaches and love and compassion to motivate their hearts. For the Bible college: the students to grow deeper in the Lord, love him more, and be fruitful in their walks with him; for faith, trust, and sensitivity to the Spirit to increase, that they would grow in walking in the Spirit and hearing his voice; that they would be praying and listening, waiting on and watching for him, working faithfully, and in all things, having a great expectation from the Lord.
Fundraiser: Support Calvary Chapel York & CCBC York. Calvary Chapel York began in 1996 as a home fellowship under the leadership of Pastor Dave. In 2000, Calvary Chapel Bible College York was established, providing Bible teaching and ministry training alongside the church. Under Dave’s leadership, both were established to share the message of the Gospel and to encourage believers to grow in their faith through the teaching of God’s Word.
