Our fall Acts 1:8 students are arriving in Jerusalem this week for ten weeks of Bible study, discipleship, and life together. Please pray that this would be more than an experience for them, and that the Lord would deepen their faith and obedience to Jesus.
We are also beginning a new season with our Calvary Chapel Old City fellowship on Friday evenings. Please pray that God would bring the right people, build genuine community, and give Matt wisdom as he teaches.
Personally, this is a very full season for our family and ministry. Please pray that Matt and I would have wisdom, endurance, and the ability to stay present with the people God puts in front of us.

- Praise the Lord: Angela gave her life to Jesus last weekend while she was away on a mini-holiday! She was in her hotel room, reading her Bible and realized that Jesus was true and she surrendered all to Him!
- Praise the Lord: We are rejoicing that Connor has continued coming into The Venue and to church again yesterday. He's trying really hard.
- Praise the Lord: The Prayer Convocation this past week led by Pastor Samuel from Uganda was well attended, and a couple of people came to faith.

Please pray for 2 more prayer initiatives taking place this month:
September 6-13 - Awaken Prayer Rooms - 24/7 Prayer are encouraging world wide prayer rooms - CBV & The Venue are co-hosting a room from 6 am to 6 pm on Thursday here in Ballymena Plus, there are 18 different churches hosting prayer rooms throughout the area, as well as another one being held in a pop-up in a shopping center in town Mon through Sat.
September 17-19 - Pastor John Ssemblya is hosting prayer gatherings with the an emphasis for world-wide revival, which will also be held at Adair Arms Hotel.
All of these prayer gatherings were planned without one another's knowledge - the Lord is moving here in Ballymena!! Praise the Lord for these prayer initiatives. May the Lord use them to draw men and women to himself and enrich and grow the church -
- Pray that the setup of our prayer room on Tuesday and Wednesday goes well and that all those who attend are blessed and encouraged throughout the time.
- We appreciate your prayers for a situation with Cindy's car. Yesterday (Sunday) morning while we were setting up for church, we heard a loud crash, it was like an explosion, which was Cindy's car being hit in the right rear quarter!! The driver had driven off. Thankfully the restaurant across the street has CCTV which recorded the entire incident and the police have identified the driver and also discovered that they have insurance. We don't know if the car is repairable or it will be written off, as we are now waiting on insurance.
- Please pray if a courtesy car is necessary for one to be made available straight away.
- Pray that if it is not repairable that a decent car can be found within a reasonable price.
- This was totally shocking to us and pretty much threw us off guard, but the Lord is extremely faithful and nothing ever catches him off guard. Pray we receive His peace.
- We are extremely grateful that no one was hurt and that the Lord's hand of peace and calm was upon everyone at church, so service (despite the strain on us) went on ahead without a hitch!
- Please continue praying for Daniel, Angela's husband, and Eamonn, Linda's husband, that these men open their hearts to the Lord.
- Please continue to pray for the 14-week New Believers Bible study. This week is week 4 of 14 - and it just so happens that the theme this week is "Trials"! Please pray for participants to continue gaining a good understanding of the Bible whilst having good craic in the conversation around it.
- Please pray for Cindy and a dear friend Beth, who is serving in London, as they will be travelling September 17 to 24 to Vatja, Hungary for the European Women's Leaders Conference (18th to 22nd). Cindy has been asked to teach a workshop on Spirit-Directed Prayer. Praying that the ladies will be ministered to and encouraged by this workshop and the entire conference as well.

ONGOING PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Thank you for your continued prayers for Kristen as she steps out in faith, trusting the Lord to move here in June 2027 to work with HCF Ireland. There are some major needs to be sorted out so let's stand with her in prayer and believe in the God of the impossible!
- Please continue praying with me for the Lord to fulfil a word He spoke to me: "That the churches in the Ballymena area will be full as He brings people from across the board to faith - male and female; young, old and in between; backsliders, the unchurched and those raised in church." - I want to be prepared for whatever the Lord will bring.
- Please continue praying for Elaine - is feeling better, but still a lot of fatigue. Please pray with us that she is able to resume coming to church
- The Lord has put Rick in a unique position with ties to church leaders/ministers from all the different types of churches in Ballymena. And he is praying that the Lord would strengthen him to be confident in taking a more active role in unifying the leaders.
- Your continued prayers for our dear Heather & Jenny are appreciated. Pray they both return to Jesus, their first Love, and to fellowship
- Please continue praying for Connor especially that he stays faithful to his walk with Jesus. We also pray for Ryan that they would use this time locked up to better themselves, get completely clean from drugs and that they would tap into their talents.
- Pray for the drugs issue in Ballymena. News reports have also said that criminals are exploiting the Republic of Ireland's weakness and flooding cocaine into the UK through them and Northern Ireland. Let's pray for this pipeline to collapse and for the freely available amount of cocaine in all its forms to decline in Ballymena.
- Please keep praying for the tinnitus in Rick's ears as there has not been much relief.

Prayer Requests
Please continue to pray for **health and strength for our family**. The flu has been making its way around, and two of our three teenagers are currently down with it. Thankfully, they are already getting better! Please pray for their continued recovery, and that Mom and Dad would be protected from getting sick as well.
Please pray for **Pastor Ramsey as he travels to the refugee camp this month**. He will have the special privilege of officiating the wedding of one of our senior pastors. He will also be holding **baptisms for believers who desire to publicly declare their faith in Christ**. We are so excited about this opportunity and pray that it will be a beautiful time of celebrating what God is doing in the lives of His people.
Finally, please pray for **God’s provision for the ministry and for our upcoming travel**. Ramsey will be traveling to South Sudan in October to participate in a large evangelical conference, where he will have the opportunity to teach one or two sessions. Please pray that God would prepare the hearts of those who will attend, that His Word would go forth with power, and that many would come to know **Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior**.

Nancy was recently surprised by a diagnosis of breast cancer! She will be having surgery on September 10th
to remove a growth. 10-15 days later further treatment will be decided including 4 to 5 weeks of radiation.
Would appreciate your prayers for healing, also wisdom for decisions needed to be made as well, as physical strength. That the Lord would grant that peace that surpasses all understanding to Nancy, that only He can give.

Sunday morning, armed gang members attacked Kenscoff, a mountain community above Port-au-Prince. At least 47 people were killed, mostly women and children. 22 of those were shot in a church where they had taken refuge. More than 50 were taken hostage. Families who'd already lost their homes to an earlier gang attack fled again — on foot, down the mountain, carrying nothing. Cross to Light is there. The churches across Haiti are praying and helping as they are able. When a crisis like this pushes hundreds more people into emergency mode, we don't have to build anything new. We just have to do our best to make sure supplies are there. Thank you for standing with the people of Haiti. Please pray for the hostages, for their families, and for our staff and pastors on the ground.

My mother went back to the ER this morning with the same symptoms of difficulty breathing. The doctors were concerned that she had a blood clot but didn't find anything. Thank God she is back home. The doctors think it is caused by a virus. I appreciate everyone's prayers. Mattan also called yesterday to tell me he fell off of a ladder and is in bed. Not sure what is happening or how bad it is but thank you for your prayers for him as well. I am supposed to be flying back to Israel on Sunday.
God will guide me. So thankful for the prayer support.

We are eagerly preparing for our trip to the US and Mexico. We decided that it would be best for me to accompany Maura the entire time so now I will also be going to Mexico. Please continue to keep this trip in prayer, for safety, good health, provision, and travel mercies, for the Lord to direct our itinerary and activities. Pray especially for Maura to have strength and endurance as she serves as a volunteer at the global conference in Denver and then the five teachings that she will be giving to the ladies in Mexico.

There is a major Christian outreach festival happening in Darmstadt (our city) on August 29 and 30 in which many local evangelical churches are participating, including ours, Calvary Chapel Darmstadt. It is called Heller!Darmstadt. (hell in German means light, bright or brilliant. So the idea is to make our city lighter by the light of Christ.) There are many pre-outreaches and prayer activities that have been going on for several months. We’ve been praying that God will pour out His Spirit, and that many people will come to faith. There will be a major stage set up in the public square, children’s ministry, as well as various musicians and preachers. I will be doing an evangelistic concert on Sunday the 30th from 12:30 till 2:00PM. Please pray for all of the surrounding activities that God will pour out His Spirit and many will be saved!

Please pray that the kids would have a wonderful time at youth camp this week. That they would have fun, grow in their faith, and make some good memories together.
Thank you so much for praying for Vicky as she has been recovering from a cold/flu. She is feeling much better!
Please pray for the kids as they head back to school next week for their final term of the year. Pray that they would finish the year strong and stay focused and encouraged.
And please continue to pray for all the people Ramsey ministered to on his recent mission trip. Pray that everyone who heard the Word and/or received food would continue to put their trust in Jesus. Things are extremely difficult in South Sudan, so please pray especially for strength, hope, and provision for the people there.

I would like to keep a good perspective. It seems there is always so much going on, but I want my default to be to raise my eyes to heaven and know God is here now.
- My health - I might have thyroid issues, losing tons of hair, extremely tired, getting another blood test in a few weeks.
- Django and food - We are taking him to a specialized therapist to work with him on varying his preferences with food. Please pray he can be brave and try new things and for his gag reflexes to settle down. It's a big weight on me that he doesn't eat "normal" kid things like sandwiches, pizza, pasta, hamburgers, slices of meat...Lord have mercy!
- Daphné starts middle school on September 1st. It's a big transition. We pray she continues to be a light for Jesus and that she can adjust to the different schedule and homework load.
- Tonio - his plate is usually (always) full and overflowing. Is there anything we can do about this? We have tried, and it seems fruitless. Are we missing something? Please pray Tonio also keep perspective and has the reflex to turn his eyes to Jesus for help.

Serving in Indonesia:
1. Pray for all aspects of next week's visit from Biola's school of Education. For God to work through the team to minister to our teachers, staff and leaders and that the Lord will use this entire trip to build a foundation for our partnership for the future for God's will and glory. Pray for their safe travels, enjoyable time, protection, God's work through all sessions including our parent's seminar.
2. Pray the Lord to work in and through all aspects of my ministry and collaboration with our school leaders. That we can have one heart for His purposes and especially right now through our Senior High Leadership team
3. Pray for my family trip to Bandung that God will bless and protect the time and continue to work in my shepherding ministry to my family including my daily family Bible study with my mom and siblings
4. Pray for our continued work in church planting in Kupang and that God will provide the property and bless our visitation trip next month
5. Pray for our school board of directors and all the documents are being prepared for next academic year and also for unity and wisdom
6. Pray all wisdom and direction for our visit to the US in October or November. That God will open the door according to His will which month, time and places He wants us to go
7. Pray for all my admin work, sermon prep and great collaboration with our Bible teachers in all aspects of the spiritual ministry in the school including a clear and unified structure in our roles
8. Pray for healing for my 3 pinched nerves in my back

1- We ask for prayer for the radio station here in Los Cocos, Nicaragua. We have a problem: the power divider is damaged, and for the time being, we are only broadcasting with one of our four antennas. We need to buy a new one, praying for the Lord’s provision.
2- The youth service in Estelí was very joyful and filled with the Holy Spirit. Please pray for the youth so they may continue to grow in the Lord.
3- Please pray for the children's ministry, that the children will continue to attend church, that we Sunday school teachers will faithfully and lovingly continue to teach them the word of God, and that the Lord will continue to provide the study materials and everything we need for the children.
4- I ask for prayer for my children: Samuel for his health and for his studies at university. For William, who had health problems and was hospitalized, he is home and is doing better, thanks to the Lord. They miss their dad a lot.
5- We ask for prayer for the special service for children and youth that we will have on August 16th at the church, so that the children and youth can learn more about the Lord.
6- Please pray for us: the Telica volcano, which is approximately 9 miles from us, has been active with explosions, spewing gases and ash.
7- Please pray for me that the Lord will continue to sustain me and give me the strength to keep going, taking care of my children and serving the Lord in His ministry.

Pray for her complete healing, wisdom for the doctors, and that the Lord will continue to minister to the Braga family at this time. They are Dan & Alexis Braga. The daughter Sophia died at the accident.
