Serving in Iraq:
I truly appreciate your prayers—for me and for the people of the Middle East, especially in Iraq.
Your support means more than I can express.
I would like to share some current prayer needs with you.
As you know, we continue to lead inductive Bible studies throughout the year and travel to different cities across Iraq.
Many of our friends there are asking for prayer during this very difficult time.
In the south, we have led training in Basra in previous years, and we remain connected with our friends there. Please pray for protection and wisdom. In many areas, Iranian-backed militias are controlling the city, making daily life very difficult for ordinary people.
In Baghdad, our friends are asking for wisdom and protection. There are frequent bombings targeting militias, and innocent people are often affected. Please pray for God's protection over civilians.
In the north, there are also ongoing bombings from Iran. Many Iraqi people are suffering as violence continues across different regions. Most Iraqis do not support these forces, yet they are living under their control. Please pray that God would bring change to the government and peace to the land.
In the midst of all this, our deepest desire as a church is to see hearts changed—that many would come to know the Lord Jesus Christ and receive salvation.
We are still planning to travel as soon as the airports reopen. Please pray for our teams as we meet, prepare, and seek the Lord regarding upcoming trips to Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Egypt.
I would also appreciate your prayers for me as I prepare online teachings for the women I serve in Iraq.
Please continue to pray for our friends and partners across these countries. They are asking for protection, wisdom, and strength in these challenging days.
Thank you again for standing with us in prayer.

Charis Ministries / Vule Family
Praise Report:
Ramsey arrived home safely yesterday from S Sudan. Thank you for keeping him in your prayers. We really appreciate your prayers.
Prayer Requests for April:
For our family:
Safety: safety for travels, safety from thieves trying to break into our compound to steal items (unfortunately petty crime (and sometimes not so petty) has been on the rise in Kenya. food prices and general cost of living has been increasing leading to many people feeling despair.
Health: in January some of you may remember two of our children were really sick with flu and strep throat. In March, Ramsey had malaria while he was in S Sudan, and also in March, Vicky had a stomach bug and then a flu that wiped her out. Please pray that we stay healthy for a while. We know that health is one way the enemy likes to discourage, but we know Jesus is God over our health.
Our two younger children will be traveling to Uganda to spend time with family, please pray that they will have a wonderful time. When they return, they will be going to their favorite Christian camp for a week. they will be having a full and fun holiday month (Kenyan schools are closed for holiday in April, August and Nov/Dec)
Ramsey has been traveling quite a bit over the past few months. So in April we would like to have some quality family time with him. Please pray that we can figure out how to do that and for the resources to make that happen (we would love to go to the coast for some beach time - Ramsey hasn't been since our honeymoon 20 years ago)
Refugee Camps:
Please pray for the students we sponsor for school. that they would be able to excel in their studies knowing that their school fees are being taken care of by our generous supporters. Thank you for blessing their lives.
Please pray as hunger continues to affect refugees as they don't receive much support from the camp officials. The humanitarian world keeps making budget cuts, and that is where the local church can come in and help. Our pastors identify the greatest needs and then we try to help as we can. Thank you for blessing these families. As I write this prayer update - one of our churches is organizing a food distribution for this weekend.
South Sudan:
Please pray for peace. People in S Sudan just want to live their lives, raise their families and farm their land. They need peace.
Charis Ministries helped coordinate a conference where hundreds of people came to be encouraged and edified in the Word of God. Ramsey was able to preach a session out of the book of Joshua and said the people were so spiritually hungry for the Word. He also said their greatest need is HOPE. Please pray that God would show people His hope. There is a plan for another conference to bring the HOPE of Jesus in October. Please pray for all the logistics for that conference. Ramsey said people were sleeping under trees and on the floor of the church - because they wanted to be there and wanted the hope of Jesus.
Please pray for the forgotten elderly in S Sudan. The ministry was able to purchase about 1600 pounds of food that Ramsey distributed to some of the elderly in Juba. Charis Ministries has also partnered with a local clinic that is going to be doing wellness checks on those elderly that we identified through the food distribution. Please pray that each of them would receive care and would know the Love of Christ through this outreach.
About 3000 people / approx. 500 families have been displaced from Minga due to cattle / tribal conflict. This situation is extremely dire. The families have been displaced into villages in and around Ramsey's home village of Mundri. We are praying that the Lord would provide us with resources to be able to send food and supplies as soon as possible. If you would like to help or know of anyone who would be willing to help supply this need, please reach out as soon as you can.

As you all may know I have made several trips to the Ukraine in this last year and the latest was in early January. I taught in the city of Vinnytsia at the Calvary Chapel fellowship there. Today Russia launched 1000 drones all across Ukraine and all of them were against civilian targets. In Vinnytsia 1 person was killed and a dozen injured. The main street where I was staying in January was hit 5 times. Everyone in the fellowship are ok, the downtown area is not. Please join me in prayer for protection for the innocent people of Ukraine, and that God will deliver them from their terrorist neighbor.

Serving in Germany & Austria:
We are experiencing intense spiritual warfare on several levels. People are fighting, misunderstandings, disunity in teams, etc. Please stand in prayer with us and for wisdom and the right words for me as I seek to have conversations with the people involved.
My uncle passed away yesterday. Please pray for his family and for opportunities to share the good news at the funeral. They need Jesus.
My mom is going through a really hard phase right now.
On the praise side: the revival night was really blessed and Jennifer’s mom had a successful surgery.
Thanks for standing with us!

I’m writing this now from my mother in laws house laying on the floor because my back started to hurt really bad. I was able to eat lunch and finish the kitchen floor so now I’m just resting it. Please pray for a healing for my back.
Also that I would hear from God with any down time. We’re starting in Genesis chapter 32 which is where Jacob wrestled with Jesus and then Jesus touches his hip and he walked with a limp from then on. I wonder if my back was touched…? Praise Him either way!!!
Please pray for us as we will have a team from overseas coming at the end of April. Pray for God to use them mightily and for us to be a blessing to them as we host them.
Pray for the outreaches we will have at the elementary school and the cafe and preschool.
Pray that Rich can get the artwork together for the corner sign. I sent in the artwork and found out that when it’s expanded it gets lots of jagged edges. So I need to get that fixed and then send it back to the sign company. Pray for my semi not so pro ability with Adobe Illustrator.
I’m almost done with the rental house. Pray for God’s blessings on the final push and that my back will be back in order two weeks from now when I come back to hopefully finish it.
Pray for my time next week to be very productive with Bible studies and cafe open prep. Lots to do and little time.
Please pray for my study in Romans to be complete. Have a lot but still need a lot.
Please pray for our preschool kids and their families to be saved. Please pray that they all turn to Jesus.
Also pray for some long term missionaries for the preschool and cafe.
Please pray for my new believer’s study and for our new believer to have the time to come.
Please pray for masses of people to get connected eternally to Jesus.
And pray that many of the Muslims that are in this country to be strongly convicted by the Holy Spirit and to seek Jesus for Life!
We are so thankful to God for all of your prayers and support.

Please pray. The rains have started again, and we just received a notice from the government saying the rains will be heavy for the next 5 days and that they are expecting nationwide flooding again.
Also, please keep Ramsey in your prayers, there is rain and flooding in S Sudan also.
And he is scheduled to come home during this flood warning time, so please keep all of his travels in your prayers next week.
Thank you so much

Please pray for the people in Israel as Iran and Hezbollah are shooting a lot of rockets and drones. Stephen & I have been getting a lot of phone calls a couple of days ago from war-weary people. Most just want prayer. One of the people that just called lives in a city just outside of Tel Aviv. A missile hit one of the buildings in her city killing a couple in their 70s. It’s the middle of the night for them and they just weren’t able to get to the bomb shelter in time. We minister to many of the precious people that are either elderly or handicapped. It’s so difficult for them to get to bomb shelters in time. So many stairs they have to go down. One of the people that called us said that a person she works with told her she wanted to go where she is because then she’d be safe. People see the Lord in the believers and are drawn to them.

Lisa Collins
CCBC Eurasia in Tbilisi, Georgia
This weekend, Lisa Collins has planned an outreach for our Bible college students in Armenia. Long-time Calvary missionaries Jeff Thompson and David LeCompte have a beautiful property being developed into a farm and ministry center for Christian retreats and community outreach. Students will serve through practical projects while also connecting with local youth, underprivileged families, and refugees. We are excited to see how the Lord will work through this new partnership. Our 10-day outreach is coming soon. Students will divide into two teams traveling to Cyprus and Romania. In Cyprus, the team led by Pastor David Markey will engage with youth, local churches, English clubs, work projects, and worship. In Romania, Lisa will lead the team in Bistrița, ministering at a special-needs orphanage and afterschool program, and participating in practical ministry and church activities that have long impacted the community. Please join us in praying for grace-filled travel and that each opportunity will impact lives and powerfully glorify the Lord.

Please pray for the believers and our teams serving in the Middle East.
Christians in Kurdistan-Iraq, especially converts from Islam, face ongoing trouble and persecution from their families, communities, and Islamic radicals. Iran has also assassinated Christians in Iraq. This danger has increased since the war began.
All Christians remain under the threat of persecution.
One of our leaders' nephews was killed during a protest in January in Tehran by the police, and they didn't return his body to his family till last week. When they took his body back to their home town, many came out to honor him.
The economic situation is terrible for everyone, but especially the Christians.
Lebanon:
Our situation is very unstable, every day is not alike, and we must be ready to change any plan at any moment.”
Hezbollah, which seeks war with Israel, holds political power and has encouraged much of the Shia community to support fighting Israel. We, Christians, want peace and a just, stable government.
In the midst of all this, we continue our ongoing ministries.
They are careful because while the believers and the Kurdish government support Israel and the US, the Iraqi (Baghdad) government and many in the street support Iran, putting them at risk if they speak out.
"We need prayer above all. We also need financial support, to help the believers in Iran.
Our trauma-healing ministry is bringing healing to many through Biblical principles and reaching people with the Gospel.
We hold discipleship classes for Christians, Alawites, Sunnis, and Sunni refugee children.
We need prayer for wisdom in choosing who to help and how to respond with our limited resources, and for the funds to accomplish our work in Lebanon.

I got into a conversation about faith with a Jewish lady. She believes more in Buddhism, she said. These are special moments when you can share the Gospel. I hope there will be more of that. We hope and pray that the conflict between Israel and Iran will not last too long and that there will be a solution that is good for peace and security in Israel and the countries in the Middle East.
Due to the incoming missiles and the frequent air raid alarms, we have not yet had any church activities at our congregation Calvary Chapel Tel Aviv. We hope to hold a prayer meeting in the church building coming Saturday for everyone who can come. During the war with Hamas, the men went to the church and the women and children stayed at home. Could you pray that God will give us wisdom when we can start the services and outreaches again?
Pray: 1) For victory for Israel and peace in the Middle East
2) That no more rockets enter Israel
3) That God opens the eyes to the Gospel of those who do not believe in Him
