PRAISES:

Praise the Lord: Cindy's vertigo is improving - still not 100% cleared, but much better - thank you!

Praise the Lord: A gentleman who walked into our prayer meeting drunk a few months ago, Greg, has been sober the last few weeks and will be going to Teen Challenge in England June 22. - Greg is the sweetest man, with a tender heart for the Lord and others. Let's keep him in our prayers so that he continues his sobriety.

Praise the Lord: Our dear friend who has been having such health struggles is seeing improvement. This is due to prayer along with a change of meds and treatment. There is Hope!!

PRAYER REQUESTS:

- Urgent prayers are needed for our town, Ballymena. It was 1 year ago today that the horrible race riots broke out that caused such fear and a lot of damage in the town, which also spread throughout Northern Ireland. Pray that the Lord keeps the threat of violence and especially the fear at bay and that the enemy will be bound from causing any chaos.

- Please pray for Rick's pastoral visit with Ryan in Maghaberry Prison tomorrow, Wednesday the 10th of June. Let's agree that Ryan will have hit 'rock bottom' and is ready to totally surrender to Jesus as his Lord & Savior.

- Pray for Kristen as she continues seeking the Lord's will for her in coming to Northern Ireland to work with HCF Ireland and see if it would be a good fit for her. There has been some progress on this, praise the Lord.

- Pray with me for the Lord to fulfil a word that He spoke to me: "That the churches in the Ballymena area will be full as He brings people from across the board to faith - male and female; young, old and in between; backsliders, the unchurched and those raised in church." - I want to be very busy this summer as the Lord brings revival.

- Thank you for your continued prayers for Wendy who had heart surgery to replace a leaking heart valve. She got home last Friday from the hospital. Thank you for your prayers for complete recovery now and also for her salvation as well.

- Please pray for Hope Now, an outreach in Harrogate, England. We will be leading and serving the catering team for. We will be there Jul 27 to Aug 4. We will be catering for a team of up to 50 people. Pray for all the teams as they are now preparing to minister to the people of Harrogate. And we're praying for good weather on the weekend for this outdoors event.

- Your continued prayers for our dear Heather & Jenny are appreciated. Pray they both return to Jesus, their first Love, and to fellowship.

Thank you for praying for the upcoming meetings this week:

Tuesday - Church prayer gathering

Saturday - Thrive

Sunday - The Book of Revelation - "What on Earth is Happening?"

ONGOING PRAYER REQUESTS:

- Please continue praying for Connor especially that he would return to faith. I also pray that he would use this time locked up to better himself, get completely clean from drugs and that he would tap into his talents.

- Please pray for some friends who have stopped attending church. Pray that their hearts will respond to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. For us, it is a bit worrying being so far away and not understanding what has led up to this. Thank you for your prayers for them.

- Pray for the drugs issue in Ballymena. News reports have also said that criminals are exploiting the Republic of Ireland's weakness and flooding cocaine into the UK through them and Northern Ireland. Let's pray for this pipeline to collapse and for the freely available amount of cocaine in all its forms to decline in Ballymena.

- Please keep praying for the tinnitus in Rick's ears as there has not been much relief.

Thank you so much for your faithful prayers for us,

Rick & Cindy Johnston
