Prayed for 3 times.

PRAISES:

Praise the Lord: This past Sunday, during the 15 minute prayer time at the start of service - the Lord answered our prayers!!! Many more people prayed, including the newly saved Linda!! How exciting this is!!

Praise the Lord: Jan is feeling better each day!

Praise the Lord: J & K in Portugal have had some success with the documentation - there is more needed, so please keep praying.

Praise the Lord: The weather the past few weeks has been such a blessing - sunshine, dry and warm days - this has brightened everyone's spirits!!

PRAYER REQUESTS:

- Please pray for Hope Now, an outreach in Harrogate, England. We will be leading the catering team for feeding up to 85 people, one meal for 100+. The team continues to grow!! Pray that we will come up with healthy, inexpensive and easy to make meals for the team. Thank the Lord that we will have a real chef on our team this year! We will be there Jul 27 to Aug 4. Pray for all the teams as they prepare to minister to the people of Harrogate. And we're praying for good weather on the weekend for this outdoor event.

- Please pray for Rick's blood pressure, it is running high at the moment, prayers that it will lower, including taking practical healthy steps - getting better sleep and walking each day - pray that we are diligent in these areas.

- Please pray for Daniel and Angela, from The Venue. Angela is very close to coming to faith, as is her 'atheist' husband, Daniel. Cindy has had many conversations, especially with Angela on Thursdays. She is open, but cautious about coming to faith. Pray that the Lord will give both she and Daniel clarity in their hearts and minds to know the truth of the gospel for themselves.

- For the past couple of months we have been spending the first 15 minutes of Sunday service praying together, since many are not able to make our midweek prayer gathering. Let's continue asking the Lord to give folks the courage to pray out loud and not be intimidated or embarrassed to do so.

- Please continue praying for Jan's health to continue to improve, especially her vision. Thank you.

- Please continue praying for our friends, J & K, serving in Portugal. They still face bureaucratic delays regarding their applications for permanent residency and need breakthroughs with documents. Also, K has two sprained ankles, please pray they continue to improve each day.

- Please pray for a workday we are planning at Elaine's home on August 14 - pray that others from CBV will come alongside her and lend a hand to help and especially to give her emotional and spiritual support.

- Let's continue praying for Kristen as she steps out in faith, trusting the Lord to move here in June 2027 to work with HCF Ireland. There are some major needs to be sorted out, so let's stand with her in prayer and believe in the God of the impossible!

- Please continue praying as Rick is in a unique position with ties to church leaders/ministers from all the different types of churches in Ballymena. And he is praying that the Lord would strengthen him to be confident in taking a more active role in unifying the leaders.

- Please continue praying with Rick for the Lord to fulfil a word He spoke to me: "That the churches in the Ballymena area will be full as He brings people from across the board to faith - male and female; young, old and in between; backsliders, the unchurched and those raised in church." - I want to be prepared for whatever the Lord will bring.

Thank you for praying for the upcoming meetings this week:

Tuesday - Church prayer gathering

Saturday - Steadfast Men's Prayer Breakfast - Stuart is leading the devo for the men

Sunday - The Book of Revelation - "What on Earth is Happening?"

ONGOING PRAYER REQUESTS:

- Your continued prayers for our dear Heather & Jenny are appreciated. Pray they both return to Jesus, their first Love, and to fellowship

- Please continue praying for Connor especially that he would return to faith. We also pray for Ryan that they would use this time locked up to better themselves, get completely clean from drugs and that they would tap into their talents.

- Pray for the drugs issue in Ballymena. News reports have also said that criminals are exploiting the Republic of Ireland's weakness and flooding cocaine into the UK through them and Northern Ireland. Let's pray for this pipeline to collapse and for the freely available amount of cocaine in all its forms to decline in Ballymena.

- Please keep praying for the tinnitus in Rick's ears as there has not been much relief.

Thank you so much for your faithful prayers for us,

Rick & Cindy Johnston
